There is a nearby boat launch for fishing, Diving, sea-kayaking, whale and bird watching, water skiing or touring Discovery Bay. The waters of Discovery Bay are sparkling clean and marine wildlife is abundant. Bald Eagles, Osprey,
Otter, Columbia Black-Tail Deer and a myriad of other unique and indigenous animals can be viewed daily from the beach at The Bay~House.
Hiking: Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park

Trying to hike all of the excellently maintained trails that the Olympic
Peninsula has to offer would literally take two lifetimes, but a hike along
any one of them will provide cherished memories that will last at least one
lifetime, have fun be safe and make sure you pack out everything you packed
in.

Sea Kayaking:
The marine waters of Discovery Bay and around the Olympic Peninsula offer some of the most incredible sea kayaking to be
found anywhere on earth, period. you can launch from the beach at The Bay~House, or explore and paddle your way along the shore line from Port
Townsend to Neah Bay* (*Neah Bay is the very tip of the Olympic Peninsula and the
furthest Northwest point in the continental USA.)
Fishing: Saltwater and Freshwater.
The Olympic Peninsula is world renowned for the incredible Saltwater Salmon,
sea-run Cutthroat Trout and Halibut fishing. The inland river fishing is
also outstanding, offering anglers a chance to catch Steelhead, Salmon and
sea-run trout. Check with the WDFW
for season info.
Clamming Info:
The Bay-House is located above a 1/2 mile of Private Commercial Claming Beach. You have exclusive digging rights for a meal or two of the freshest Littlenecks you've ever tasted!
The Bay~House is that perfect place for a weekend get-a-way or week long
retreat.
